Senior Project Manager – Multi‑family
Nelsen Partners
, a design‑focused architecture and planning firm, is seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager to join its Austin, TX studio. The ideal candidate will bring extensive multi‑family experience and will lead technical design and documentation for large and complex market‑rate and affordable projects.
- Lead the technical aspects of multi‑family projects, including investigating, evaluating, and recommending project solutions.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with multi‑disciplinary design teams to ensure project design intent and sound solutions.
- Develop and complete efficient and organized construction documentation.
- Champion quality assurance practices.
- Effectively present technical design solutions and strategies to clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for professional growth and staff development.
- Uphold a commitment to exceptional client service.
- Professional licensure – preferred, but not required.
- 10+ years of multi‑family residential projects; contract administration experience preferred.
- Additional commercial experience in hospitality, mixed‑use, and retail is advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge in building systems, building science, codes, and construction methods.
- Strong design fundamentals and communication skills.
- Engaging, dynamic communicator with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
- Collaborative team‑oriented approach in a high‑energy environment.
- Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
