Established and independently owned general dentistry practice in central Austin for over 45 years. Located on beautiful Shoal Creek Blvd, we are currently looking to hire a dental assistant that is looking for a unique opportunity to work in a patient centric mostly self-pay fee for service dental practice.

With a long-standing loyal patient base, we are also looking to grow by attracting new patients. We are team oriented and promote personal growth, education and development. We also promote fun! With team, incentives, quarterly team outings and team building we work hard and play hard. Also, all staff participate in a monthly bonus program to earn some extra cash!

Our ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, reliability record and be able to learn and grow with the practice.

Work only 32-36 hours per week and enjoy a 3-day weekend! Our hours are Monday
- Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Thursday from 7:00am to 3:00pm.

The applicant will do their utmost to provide all the care that can be given by the RDA. It is important that they are compassionate and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Ideally, they will have an entrepreneurial spirit and help implement and maintain a strong recall and periodontal maintenance program.

REQUIRED:

• State of Texas Registered Dental Assistant
• Minimum 1 year experience, new dental assistant grads welcome to apply, we will train
• Digital x-ray experience
• Digital charting and note experience
• Must have the ability to give patient education on procedures and post op instructions
• Professional and presentable appearance with excellent communication skills
• Have a positive, caring and energetic personality

PREFFERED:

• Knowledge of Open Dental software
• Invisalign experience
• Digital camera experience for clinical records
• Nitrous Oxide monitor certification
