Our platform enables real estate professionals (realtors, brokers, real estate photographers and media companies) to create professional property videos without the high cost and time associated with traditional video production.
We’re a small, fast-moving team that ships constantly, with the leadership team from world-class companies such as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. We’re scaling rapidly and need a creative leader who can build the creative engine that fuels our paid growth across Meta Ads, You Tube, and beyond.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a Head of Performance Creative to own the creative strategy and production behind Auto Reel’s paid acquisition. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll build the systems, build and manage a lean team (primarily offshore), and personally own the creative ads output that powers our growth.
You’ll be responsible for producing 50‑100+ video ads per week across channels, building scalable creative testing frameworks, and integrating AI tools into every stage of the workflow. This needs to be a thoughtful, scalable system that can support scaling up to 100‑500 creatives weekly if needed.
You understand how Meta and Tik Tok algorithms reward creative, and you know how to turn that knowledge into lower CPAs and higher ROAS.
This isn’t a “big team, big budget” role. It’s a “scrappy, high‑output, build‑the‑machine” role at a startup that’s growing fast and competing hard.
What You’ll Do- Own performance creative strategy:
Set the creative direction and testing roadmap across Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube, and emerging channels. You’ll decide what gets made, why, and how we measure success. - Build and run the creative engine:
Design the workflows, templates, and production systems that let us produce 50+ high‑quality ad creatives per week without burning out – and support scaling up the number of creatives weekly as we grow. - Lead with AI:
Integrate AI tools into every stage of creative production — from ideation and scripting to editing and iteration. Maximize throughput while keeping quality high. - Manage a small, high-performing team:
Hire and lead 2–4 creatives for the production team (editors, designers, UGC creators) that will be primarily offshore while you remain the key point of contact and quarterback. Set the bar for speed, quality, and experimentation. - Drive creative testing at scale:
Build structured testing frameworks (hooks, formats, messaging angles, audiences) and turn data into actionable creative briefs. - Partner with Growth:
Work closely with our paid media buyer to align creative strategy with campaign performance. Turn spend data into better ads. - Know our customers deeply:
Understand the real estate agent and photographer psyche — their fears, desires, and buying triggers — and translate that into ads that convert.
- 5+ years building and leading creative teams in performance marketing, growth, or digital advertising.
- Proven track record of producing high‑volume performance creative (Meta and Tik Tok experience required).
- Deep understanding of how platform algorithms evaluate and reward creative — you think in hooks, thumb‑stop rates, and hold rates.
- Hands‑on experience with AI tools and creative tools (video generation, script writing, image editing) and a strong opinion on how to integrate them into production workflows.
- Experience building creative testing systems and translating performance data into actionable creative strategy.
Comfortable in a startup environment where you’ll build processes and systems from scratch, not inherit them. - Strong editorial eye and ability to give fast, clear creative feedback.
- Bonus:
Experience in real estate, proptech, or SaaS. Familiarity with vertical video formats and UGC‑style content.
