This agency specializes in marketing campaigns that drive social change, working across industries such as environmental advocacy, transportation, education, and public health.

We're looking for a Production Designer who can seamlessly blend design expertise with technical execution. In this role, you'll be a key player in both the creative and production processes-ensuring high-quality deliverables while also contributing fresh design ideas when needed.


What You'll Do:

• Work with designers' files and production specs to prepare final working files with exceptional attention to detail.
• Collaborate with creative directors and art directors to develop designs for print ads, collateral, environmental graphics, social media, and digital assets.
• Resize and format digital ads, banners, and print materials to meet various specifications.
• Ensure design files are clean, organized, and adhere to brand and technical requirements.
• Create mechanicals with precise live areas and properly sized images for different media formats.
• Prepare files for offset, digital, large-format, and specialty printing, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Retouch, balance, and resize photos, including compositing images as needed.
• Lay out proposals and presentations, from short documents to book-length reports.
• Assist with stock photography searches and create photo comps.
• Build additional creative assets and make edits to existing campaigns.
• Support new campaign ideation with fresh design concepts.
• Maintain meticulous organization of all files for easy access and future updates.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in a creative or production role within advertising, marketing, or print industries.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Mac OS), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Word), and Canva
  ; video editing/motion graphics skills are a plus.
• A strong eye for design
  , coupled with a deep understanding of production techniques, pre-press, and four-color process printing.
• Advanced photo retouching skills and familiarity with best practices for digital and print design.
• Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for accuracy and quality.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
