Piano Teacher Lake Travis TX

About the Position

The Musicians Woodshed is seeking a part-time, in-person piano instructor at our Lake Travis location. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours; consistency is appreciated, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-$32/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available after 90 days. Health benefit packages are available for part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.

Ensemble Schools is a partnership of community-driven music & dance schools that maintain individual identities but share resources to ensure mutual success.

At The Musicians Woodshed (Lake Travis and North Parmer, TX), instructors design customized lesson plans for each student based on the student’s music tastes, skill set, and personal goals. Our performance-based, flexible curriculum offers an engaging environment for students to pick up an instrument. We want students playing music they enjoy—because if a student is playing music they like, they play more.
