This is a full‑time (40hrs a week), 6 month contract role based in Austin, TX, with in‑office collaboration expected three or more days per week.

A leading digital brand in a highly visible consumer category is entering a new phase of creative maturity and scaling its marketing efforts across multiple channels. The organization helps millions of users make informed decisions through expert guidance, intuitive tools, and a strong brand identity.

The Production Design Lead will play a key role in advancing the brand's creative system by translating high‑level campaign identity frameworks into scalable, channel‑specific executions. This hands‑on leadership role establishes the workflows, systems, and quality standards needed to support multiple concurrent campaigns while maintaining creative intent and brand integrity.

• 8+ years of experience in production design, brand design, or integrated marketing design
• Demonstrated ability to scale campaign identity systems across diverse channels and audiences
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience experimenting with or implementing AI‑assisted production workflows
• Comfortable managing contractors, freelancers, or junior designers
• Deep understanding of requirements for display, email, paid media, and social channels
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and quality control
• Strong cross?functional communication and collaboration skills
• A portfolio showcasing systems thinking and high‑volume, high‑quality execution
• Interest in building and mentoring a production design team over time

In this role, you will translate campaign identity systems into polished, ready‑to‑deploy assets across display, email, social, paid media, event marketing, and partner channels. You will establish scalable production design workflows, build templates and component libraries, and uphold quality standards across all outputs.

Responsibilities include creating a repeatable production pipeline, executing hands‑on design work, supporting simultaneous flagship and ongoing campaigns, managing external contributors, and ensuring consistency across channels. You will partner closely with creative directors, art directors, copywriters, motion designers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless handoffs from concept to execution.

You will also help introduce modern tooling and AI‑enabled processes that improve speed, quality, and versioning efficiency as the organization grows.

• Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, communications, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
• Background in production design, brand design, integrated marketing, or high‑volume creative systems
• Experience supporting both consumer‑facing and B2B marketing initiatives

• This role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite in the Austin, TX office
• Hands?on production execution is required, especially in the early stages
• Ability to hire, guide, and mentor a growing production design team
• Experience with modern creative tools and AI‑assisted workflows
• Strong operational instincts around timelines, resources, and prioritization

The hourly pay for this W‑2 position ranges from $40 – $45.
