We are looking for a Editor/Producer to join us on-site to work on "This Week in Startups" and "This Week in AI." This is a full-time,
in-person position where you will work directly with our production team and our host Jason Calacanis.

What You’ll Do:- On-Site
Collaboration:
Brainstorm, coordinate, and organize content daily with the TWiST/TWiAI production team in the studio. - Live Production: Lead the "Pre-Show" and "Live" execution. Assist in streaming the podcast and managing "going live" through platforms like Re-Stream and Riverside from our control room.
- Visual Identity: Create high-click-rate thumbnails for You Tube and Spotify.
- Post-Production: Edit entertaining and compelling video content. This includes long-form podcasts for You Tube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, as well as high-impact clips for Tik Tok, Instagram, and X.
- Distribution & Growth: Oversee the distribution of content across all major platforms and provide real-time analytics data to guide the team’s strategy.
- Studio Support: Maintain the studio environment and assist with other tasks as assigned to ensure world-class production quality.
- Advanced Video Production: Expert proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cap Cut
. You must be skilled in kinetic typography, 2D animation for data visualization, and high-retention multi-cam editing. - Domain Knowledge: A deep familiarity with podcasts and a genuine interest in the tech/startup ecosystem.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a collaborative office environment.
- Software: Proficient with Google Docs, Slack, Notion, Zapier, Typeform.
- Resilience: Relentless positivity and dogged resilience—we are a scrappy team doing world-class work.
- Experience: 1–5 years of professional production experience.
- In-Office: This is a 100% in-person role. The team works from the studio 11 am to 8 pm, 3 days a week, and 9-6pm two days a week

Schedule:
TWiST records Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12:00 PM CT. - TWiAI records Tuesday at 12:00 PM CT.
- Content Cycle: We post content every day, including shorts, clips, and long-form episodes.

- Video Intro: Candidates selected for an interview will be asked to record a three-minute video introducing themselves.
- Initial Interview: A conversation with a member of our production team.

- Paid Project: Finalists will complete a 2-hour production project (we pay you for your time).
- Goal: We are looking to have this role start as soon as possible.
