Established in 1989, TPPF promotes conservative principles and develops free‑market approaches to public policy challenges affecting Texans and all Americans. The Role:

TPPF operates production and broadcast studios in Austin with professional video, audio, and lighting equipment, plus an editing studio with modern tools and software yaba. The Associate Video Producer supports the film team with logistics, shoot preparation, and hands‑on production assistance for podcasts, interviews, social media reels, speeches, live streams, and other content.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support pre‑production: calendars, shoot schedules, run‑of‑show docs, shot lists, talent coordination, basic research, and release forms.

  • Assist on studio and newline productions: help set up lights/audio, manage gear, capture B‑ მოც, and support camera ops as assigned.

  • Maintain production organization: file handoffs, labeling, media transfers, and keeping projects moving through the workflow.

  • Help prepare content for platform delivery(You Tube, X, Instagram, Linked In): formatting needs, captions/subtitles coordination, thumbnails/assets coordination with design as needed.

  • Support event and on‑location coverage, including occasional evenings/weekends.

  • Keep studio spaces and kits organized and production‑ready; assist with basic inventory tracking and care of equipment.

Qualifications:

  • A deep commitment to the principles of liberty, personal responsibility, and free enterprise.

  • 1–2 years of experience in video production (internships/portfolio work welcome

    IUnknown); portfolio required.

  • Familiarity with on‑set fundamentals (audio, lighting, camera support) and a strong willingness to learn.

  • Organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented; able to follow direction and meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast‑paced environment tied to news cycles and events.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro acceptable with strong portfolio).
