What to Expect

As a Construction Project Coordinator at Tesla, you'll focus on the administrative and coordination aspects of construction projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and helping to facilitate communication across teams. You'll oversee multiple projects from start to finish, supporting the Engineering and Construction teams in driving progress and maintaining workflow.

What You'll Do

* Collect, manage, and distribute communications and reporting for the Controls Construction, Quality, Commissioning, and Programming teams

* Act as a liaison between Engineering Program Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, Programmers, Quality Inspectors, and Commissioning Engineers/Technicians

* Create and track workflows, including submittals, work approvals, and RFIs. Set priorities and manage daily reporting

* Track project material, equipment, deliveries, data, budgets, forecasts, and schedules. Highlight risks to Project Managers & Superintendents

* Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new hires, vendors and contractors

* Review project schedules for accuracy, verify field team updates, and construction metrics

* Create tracking profiles in BIM software, spreadsheets, drawings, and status field construction activities

What You'll Bring

* Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience coordinating/administrating construction projects

* Proficient in MS Office, Primavera, and other project management tools. An exceptional command of Excel will set a candidate apart

* Working knowledge of construction designs include MEP dense infrastructure projects

* Highly organized with the ability to set and prioritize construction tasks

* Strong written and verbal communication skills, handling confidential information

* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to last-minute changes

* Knowledge of Building Control Systems/Devices/Instruments will set the candidate apart, but not required
