Hill International is seeking an Electrical Inspector - Low Voltage in Austin, Texas
Hill International is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector - Low Voltage Building/Vertical across multiple disciplines to support ongoing infrastructure improvements se roles are critical to ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with contract documents and applicable codes. Inspectors will be responsible for field verification, documentation, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Conduct field inspections to verify conformance with approved contract documents and applicable codes
- Review contractor work for compliance with specifications, manufacturer instructions, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate daily activities with third-party inspectors and project stakeholders, including ABIA Operations, Environmental teams, City inspectors, and AUS personnel
- Document deficiencies and communicate findings to the Contractor, Construction Manager and CDS inspectors in a timely manner
- Support Construction Managers in verifying installed quantities for Pay Applications
- Maintain accurate daily inspection reports detailing work reviewed and observations made
- Participate in change management processes and assist in schedule evaluations
