Superintendent- Water​/Wastewater

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations for a major wastewater treatment plant rehabilitation and upgrade project in South Austin. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of construction activities on site. You will manage daily field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and maintain compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

• Direct and supervise all field construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to maintain schedule and quality standards
• Monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate updates to project management
• Enforce company safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific guidelines
• Support project goals by fostering teamwork and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders

• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and civil construction methods
• Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors on complex infrastructure projects
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
