Superintendent - Industrial Build

I’m partnering with a well-established general contractor in the Austin market to recruit an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in commercial and industrial construction
. This is a long‑term opportunity with a contractor known for delivering high‑quality industrial and commercial projects across Central Texas.

As Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for managing all on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to spec. Projects include industrial units, warehouses, flex space, and commercial buildings
.

• Oversee daily on‑site construction operations from start to finish
• Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure productivity and quality
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Coordinate schedules, inspections, and material deliveries
• Review plans and specifications to ensure proper execution
• Work closely with project managers and ownership representatives
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively

• 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
• Hands‑on experience delivering commercial and industrial projects (required)
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite safety
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• OSHA certification preferred
• Experience working in the Austin / Central Texas market highly desirable
