Location: Creedmor, TX
Compensation:
- Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
- Vehicle allowance or gas card
Project Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee a ground-up commercial construction project in Creedmor, TX. The project involves the construction of a 50,000 sq ft industrial complex, consisting of a pre-engineered metal building. The project will be executed in two phases, with the first phase focusing on site roadwork, followed by the second phase involving the ground-up development of the industrial complex.
The anticipated timeline for completion is approximately 10 months.
Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Phase Planning: Develop and implement detailed plans for both phases of the project, with a keen focus on the first phase's roadwork and the subsequent ground-up construction.
- Team Leadership: Direct and lead on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and project managers, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, fostering a culture of safety on the construction site.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with the project manager to monitor and control project expenses within the established budget.
- Travel: Ability to commute to and from Creedmor on a daily basis is required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate construction teams to achieve project goals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Safety Focus: Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment on the construction site.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to project changes and unforeseen challenges.
- Travel: Must be able to commute to Creedmor daily.
