Job Description
We’re growing and looking for a Project Manager/Estimator or Assistant who wants to build a long-term career in the drywall and framing trade.
The Assistant Project Manager (APM)/Estimator supports our Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating materials, manpower, and documentation for multiple drywall projects.
You’ll help keep schedules, submittals, and budgets on track while learning all aspects of project management in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
This role is designed as a growth track to Project Manager within 2–3 years for high performers.

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; local jobs only (no overnight travel)

Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate takeoffs, bids, and change orders using On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid software.
- Maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs.
- Assist Project Managers with purchasing, material management, vendor coordination, and schedule updates.
- Track deliveries and verify quantities at job sites.
- Manage drawings and digital files using On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Communicate daily with field crews, superintendents, and general contractors.
- Support project closeout activities (punch lists, warranties, as-builts).
- Promote and uphold company safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial drywall or construction coordination.
- Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Good driving record and reliable transportation within 50 miles of Round Rock (78681).
- OSHA-10 preferred (company-paid training available).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Previous Estimator Experience a plus.
