Associate Recruitment Consultant - Texas Construction - Commercial & Multifamily DivisionWe are partnered with a respected construction company in the Austin market seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This role is ideal for a proven commercial PM who understands the full project lifecycle and can manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships on complex builds.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Manage project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and change orders
- Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with field leadership
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract execution, and scope coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and project documentation
- Partner closely with Superintendents to ensure strong field execution
- Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Manage project closeout and turnover processes
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager on commercial projects
- Proven track record managing commercial construction (ground-up and/or complex renovations)
- Experience across commercial sectors such as:
- Office
- Retail
- Hospitality
- Education
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, and schedules
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience with construction management software preferred
