Senior Estimator - Joe Bland Construction, LLC
Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to provide accurate and timely estimates for construction projects. The role involves leading the estimating team, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time, and maintaining competitive, profitable bids.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the estimating team, ensuring all estimates are accurate and timely
- Oversee the entire estimating process, from initial bid to final proposal
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Ensure all estimates are completed within budget and on time
- Provide guidance and support to the project management team throughout the construction process
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Master's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Experience with estimating software, such as Bluebeam, Agtek or Heavy Bid
- Experience with BIM software, such as Revit or Navisworks
- Professional certification, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
