• Proven experience in construction estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction leadership.
• The ability to translate complex plans and data into clear, actionable strategies.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.

• Technical mastery of preconstruction software and project scheduling tools.

• Leadership, honesty, loyalty work ethic.
• Four‑year bachelor’s degree (or) commensurate experience in construction science/management or construction engineering.
• Eight or more years of experience estimating commercial construction projects in the $5M to $50M+ project size range.
• Ability to analyze and interpret drawings and specifications.
• General knowledge of construction principles and processes.
• High level conceptual estimating ability.
• Ability to manage a design to a budget.
• Ability to multitask and meet simultaneous deliverables.
• Expertise in the procurement of construction work.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficient with appropriate software.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to varied audiences.
• Strong presentation skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
