Senior Superintendent (traveler) at White Construction

Austin-based White Construction is undertaking a large commercial project in Eagle Pass, TX. The hired candidate will initially work from the Austin office, then transition to full-time on site for the remainder of the project.

• Lead Superintendent for a team of 5-7.
• Hospitality experience nice to have.

• Project Knowledge – Knows plans better than anyone on the project, predicts problems before work starts.
• Cost Management – Understand and analyze material and method costs to control expenses and maximize profitability.
• Schedule Management – Prepare, adjust, and adhere to a 3‑week look‑ahead and overall project schedule.
• Quality Management – Commit to quality construction, follow the WCC QA/QC program guidelines.
• Safety Management – Lead weekly safety meetings and enforce safe work practices.
• Contract Knowledge – Understand subcontracts, responsibilities, and scopes of work.
• Relationship Management – Represent White Construction, maintain client and peer relationships.
• Communication Skills – Convey messages verbally and in writing professionally and concisely.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in similar construction project types.
