The A&E Business Development Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Architecture, Consulting, and Engineering (ACE) Business Development (BD) team by managing inbound leads, coordinating opportunities, maintaining Salesforce accuracy, and strengthening relationships across consultants, internal sales teams, and marketing. This role serves as a central point of coordination, ensuring timely follow-up, clean data, and effective collaboration that drives pipeline growth and program success.

** As our A&E Business Development Coordinator, you’ll support HID’s success by:*
* * Monitoring & reviewing Inbound Lead Management (website & Marcom-generated).
* Assisting with assigning and routing leads to ACE BD team members.
* Ensuring timely follow-up and accurate tracking in Salesforce.
* Reviewing Consultant Portal Access Requests (Review, confirm or dismiss).
* Reviewing and managing requests for access to the ACE Certification Program.
* Reviewing and updating identified ACE accounts, contacts, and account intelligence in Salesforce.
* Sending introductory and confirmation communications as required.
* Managing opportunity & account Coordination.
* Reviewing new opportunities with ACE team, BD team members and RSMs.
* Supporting follow-up, updates, and documentation of opportunity activity.
* Reviewing construction intelligence sources (e.g., Dodge Reports, Construct Connect/Construct Wise).
* Researching, qualifying, and assigning relevant new construction opportunities to BD team members.
** Your Experience and Background include:*
* * Clear understanding and experience with account and client relationship coordination in a corporate culture.
* Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) and MS Office Suite
* Strong understanding of sales techniques, lead generation, and closing deals.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and trends, make informed decisions, and adjust strategies accordingly.
* A self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions.
* Openness to acquiring new skills and knowledge in the business development domain.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to achieve common business objectives.
* A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is often preferred.
* 2+ years experience in related field is preferred.
* Proven experience in sales or business development roles, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding targets is preferred.
* Familiarity with the industry or sector in which the company operates. Knowledge of market trends, competitors, and relevant business factors.
* Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Time management skills to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
