Essential Job Functions (EJFs)
  • Provides senior‑level consultative support to the Deputy CIO, including research, analysis, and recommendations on IT governance, policy, strategic initiatives, and legislative matters. (25%)
  • Leads and facilitates special projects, including intake coordination, business needs definition, and documentation for IT and enterprise‑wide initiatives. (20%)
  • Prepares executive‑level reports, presentations, and decision‑support materials for governance committees, legislative reviews, and leadership meetings. (15%)
  • Tracks and manages progress of assigned projects, including Exceptional Items, ensuring alignment with agency priorities and timely completion of deliverables. (15%)
  • Develops agendas and supporting materials for Enterprise ESC meetings with the Executive Commissioner and other executive forums. (10%)
  • Coordinates communication between program requestors, technical teams, and governance bodies to resolve issues and clarify requirements. (10%)
  • Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. (5%)
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

(KSAs)
  • Knowledge of organizational analysis, IT governance, project management, legislative processes, and agency policies.
  • Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies, change management principles, and artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and applications.
  • Skill in advanced research, data analysis, and problem‑solving, including legislative review and budget tracking (Exceptional Items).
  • Skill in preparing executive‑level reports, presentations, and decision‑support materials.
  • Skill in business communication, including written and oral communication for executive audiences.
  • Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, project tracking tools, and AI platforms for data analysis and workflow automation.
  • Skill in facilitating meetings, developing agendas, and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
  • Skill in supporting executive leadership in the development, implementation, and tracking of team and individual goals, including the use of SMART goal methodology.
