Presently this position is in a hybrid status with a minimum of four days a week in the office for collaboration, teamwork, and business needs. The status and minimum in-office requirements are subject to change based on evolving business needs.

Overview

Working under limited supervision, the Sr Product Manager will set strategy, drive innovation, and manage profitability across their product categories. The role is overall owner from concept inception through commercial launch, interacting with all functional groups. The successful candidate will possess a blend of analytical and creative abilities and will be the product category leader responsible for total portfolio management.

Responsibilities
  • Business & Marketing Planning:
    Create and lead strategies and associated plans on a 3‑5 year and annual basis to drive business performance across the product portfolio.
  • End User Understanding & Market Research:
    Gain end user insights through qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies to develop needs‑based new product business cases and marketing plans. Develop end user segmentation to identify target markets and opportunities.
  • Financial Goal Achievement:
    Stay focused on budgeted revenue and profitability targets and develop plans to grow market share through the introduction of new products and management of existing product portfolios.
  • Product Portfolio Management:
    Develop overall product portfolio strategy, including product development roadmap, existing product portfolio management, product mix, pricing strategy, product launch execution, supply‑chain planning, and budget oversight.
  • Branding & Communication:
    Build brand platforms and ensure all products support the core brand positioning and messaging. Drive packaging design, integrated marketing campaigns, promotions, and work with customer and channel marketing.
  • Customer Interaction & Distribution Channel Understanding:
    Drive development of channel and customer strategies with sales and channel management, leveraging POS data and marketplace intelligence to inform product strategies.
  • Business Analysis & Overall Portfolio Management:
    Command the P&L and key business metrics, create business cases with ROI and resource justification.
  • Leadership:
    Lead cross‑functional team members and peers to achieve buy‑in and drive execution of key initiatives.
  • Other Duties:
    Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibilities and requirements of the job.
  • Essential Job Functions and Duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications Education, Licenses, and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Safety related product, PPE or fall protection experience.
  • MBA desired.
Years of Experience and Knowledge
  • 6+ years management experience marketing a product line of consumer durables through multiple sales channels.
  • Solid track record with proven results in new product development and product line management.
  • MUST have experience with durable goods.
Skills and Abilities
  • Advanced level skills using MS Office products including Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience incorporating AI into workplace efficiency.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Project management experience (preferred).
  • People management skills (direct and/or indirect).
  • Broad business and technical aptitude.
Travel Requirements
  • 20‑30% travel domestically and internationally required.
