Base pay will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. The role is also eligible for team‑based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Brookdale offers to advance fees for naturalization (Form N‑400) application costs, up to $725, less applicable taxes and withholding, for qualified associates who have been with us for at least one year.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the community, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and other human‑resources related duties.
  • Track community accounting changes, prepare and record all invoices, assist with new‑hire documentation and organize and maintain personnel, resident, marketing and other files as needed.
  • Responsible for attracting, recruiting, engaging and retaining the BAH agency’s associates.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or minimum of one to two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Addendum To Essential Functions
  • Review new associate applicants in Oracle daily and conduct prescreen interviews by phone followed by setting up in‑person interviews for BAH agency leader.
  • Analyze trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.
  • Prepare and post notifications to clients regarding rate increases as approved by BAH Agency leader and BAH corporate office.
  • Manage leave of absence administration in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partner and the company’s leave of absence vendor.
  • Maintain associate personnel files in compliance with Brookdale policy and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage associate stay and exit interview process and utilize feedback to support the Agency Administrator in continually improving associate turnover and retention.
  • Coordinate Everyday Hero program and other recognition activities.
  • Assist with setup of direct debits and electronic payment for clients.
  • Complete or assist with special projects and other duties as requested by the agency or BAH senior management.
  • In collaboration with Agency leader, oversee the successful execution of company programs, including, but not limited to, associate orientation (Brookdale Beginnings) and training (Associate Foundations) and the safety and workers compensation program.
