What

you’ll own

Scope & time allocation (guidance):

  • Company operating cadence (30%) – Design and run weekly exec forums, goal‑setting, and QBRs; drive clarity on priorities, owners, and dates.
  • Cross‑functional initiatives (30%) – Lead high‑impact projects end‑to‑end (e.g., commercialization roadmaps, capacity scale‑up, pricing and partnerships, investor materials).
  • CEO leverage (20%) – Prioritize the CEO’s time; prepare board‑ready content; ensure decisions and follow‑through across the org.
  • Org effectiveness (15%) – Establish metrics, dashboards, and reviews that raise our leadership standard and speed to decision.
  • Talent & communications (5%) – Support hiring for Sales, Marketing, R&D, Ops, and Finance; steward internal/external messaging.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities
  • Be an extension of the CEO
    —facilitate decisions, anticipate risks, and ensure execution lands.
  • Translate strategy into clear roadmaps
    , interlocks, and measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze data, market signals, and competitive dynamics; turn insights into action.
  • Liaise across functions to unblock work and keep teams aligned.
  • Prepare crisp executive and board materials
    ; manage investor and partner interactions as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce cycle times and raise quality.
  • Coach leaders and high‑potential talent on structured problem solving and operating discipline.
What success looks like 90 days
  • Company‑wide operating rhythm in place with transparent priorities and owners.
  • CEO and exec team using a shared dashboard for KPIs and decision tracking.
  • Two cross‑functional initiatives launched with clear milestones and resourcing.
6–12 months
  • Measurable improvements in time‑to‑decision, project throughput, and forecast accuracy.
  • Board and investor materials that consistently convert interest into opportunities.
  • Credible succession path toward expanded COO/CSO or GM responsibilities as we scale.
What makes you a great fit
  • 4+ years in top‑tier management consulting (
    BCG/Bain/Mc Kinsey or equivalent), with depth in strategy, analytics, and project leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional execution in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
  • Comfortable oscillating between strategy and detail
    —from the boardroom to the lab/pilot line.
  • B2B experience; startup/scale‑up mentality and bias for action.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, and stakeholder influence.
  • Data‑driven approach to performance management; expertise in process and project management.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and relentlessly solution‑oriented.
