With a large and growing client portfolio, we are looking for a proactive and business‑savvy Strategy Consultant within Value Engineering who wants to make their mark in data‑driven value articulation, business cases, measurement frameworks, and financial modelling.

What will your day look like?As our new Strategy Consultant within Value & Promotional Engineering, you will work alongside our Strategy Consulting team, helping clients understand both the potential and the realized ROI of their investments in digital marketing, loyalty, AI, and CRM.
Your work will inform executive‑level decision‑making and support large‑scale transformation programs at some of the world’s leading companies. You will work across multiple clients and projects simultaneously while collaborating closely with the broader VML MAP organization.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing business cases, measurement frameworks, financial models, and KPI reporting
- Spearheading the creation of new and improved assets, tools, and methodologies that advance the discipline
- Working with client stakeholders to define the value architecture, business goals, and to analyze baseline data and performance insights to build data‑driven commercial strategies
- Crafting and delivering compelling presentations, roadmaps, and recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Leading workshops to identify business value and strategic insights in collaboration with client stakeholders
- Promoting the adoption of value engineering approaches internally and externally among clients and prospects
- Supporting client teams and commercial growth initiatives, including account development and new business

You will collaborate closely with specialists across the wider VML MAP organization – including experts in technology, data, creative, and client leadership – across our global offices.
You will also work directly with client stakeholders across multiple functions, including marketing, sales, digital, and technology. Our global client base spans industries such as FMCG, retail, fashion, automotive, and financial services. In addition, you will be working with our clients, both management and specialists, across many of their functions including marketing, sales, digital, and technology. Whatdo you bring to the table?
As a person, you are an outgoing and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a self‑starter mindset. You enjoy solving complex business challenges in a structured and analytical way, with a strong attention to detail. You are comfortable collecting and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data and translating it into clear insights and recommendations supported by a compelling storyline.
In addition, you have:
- 4-5 years of experience from a strategy consulting firm or an in‑house corporate strategy function (candidates with strong relevant capabilities are encouraged to apply)
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem‑solving skills
- A relevant master’s degree, preferably in business administration, strategy, marketing, finance, or a related field
- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments at a global level
