The Business Development and Proposals Manager plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of the organization by identifying new business opportunities and leading the development and review of compelling proposals that win contracts. The role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze market trends, understand client needs, and collaborate across departments to craft tailored solutions. The manager oversees the entire proposal lifecycle, ensuring timely submission, compliance with client requirements, and alignment with company capabilities.
By building strong relationships with potential clients and internal stakeholders, this position directly contributes to expanding the company’s market presence and revenue streams.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, proposal management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex proposals and winning new business.
- Strong understanding of proposal development processes and client requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Industry experience relevant to the company’s operations (e.g., technology, energy, health, nutrition, food and beverage consulting).
- Familiarity with RFP/CRM and proposal management software tools.
- Experience managing multiple projects and cross‑functional teams simultaneously.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client engagement.
- Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical experts to develop winning proposal content.
- Manage proposal schedules, coordinate resources, and maintain communication with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to inform business development strategies and proposal approaches.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and partners to support long‑term business growth.
- Monitor and report on proposal outcomes and business development metrics to senior management.
Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and project management skills are essential to identify opportunities and develop proposals that meet client needs and company capabilities. Familiarity with CRM and proposal software enhances productivity and streamlines the proposal process. The role also requires the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage complex projects efficiently.
