Print Operator

Position Summary

The Print Operator plays a key role in delivering high-quality print production services and operational support. This position focuses primarily on high-volume printing and finishing tasks, while also providing assistance with mailroom operations, equipment maintenance, and occasional reception duties.

• Operate high-volume production printers and copiers, ensuring quality output and timely completion of jobs.
• Perform binding, finishing, and document preparation tasks.
• Conduct daily quality checks on convenience copiers; clear paper jams and escape technical issues as needed.
• Set up and maintain equipment (e.g., toner replacement, paper stocking).
• Scan and image documents accurately.
• Maintain job logs, service records, and inventory reports.
• Distribute completed jobs and office supplies to designated locations.
• Respond to and coordinate service calls for equipment issues.
• Occasionally assist with meeting room setups, light maintenance, and reception duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years in print production or related field preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic computer operations.
• Knowledge of copier and print equipment; troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Other:
  Valid driver’s license may be required.

• Frequent exposure to copier noise, toner, and varying temperatures.
• Physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
