The Contract Administration Services unit is located at 1117 Trinity Street, in Austin, Texas.

What you will doThe Contract Specialist IV performs advanced (senior-level) contract management work. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
You will be trusted to- Serve as the Contract Manager for a variety of contracts, including Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) and Inter-Agency Agreements (IAC) focusing on External Data Exchange (EDE) Contracts.
- Develop, review or revise new contracts, renewals or amendments.
- Oversee, interpret, and manage assigned contracts.
- Act as the liaison between contractors and program staff.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between all contract stakeholders and serves as the single point of contact for all contractual accountability activities between TWC and contractors.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to contracting activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Four years of full-time experience in contract development, management, evaluation, monitoring, or training of contract providers or customers; or in the delivery of workforce development services which included contract development, management, evaluation, monitoring, or training of contract providers or customers.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
- Currently holds a Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) or Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD).
- Experience in technical writing, procurement processes, and contract development.
- Experience in process facilitation, customer service, and data analysis.
- Strong communication and organization skills with attention to detail.
