SPI’s Consulting Division has a clear career track. This position is a mid-level consulting position. SPI’s Managing Consultants work on account teams for specific clients. Consultants are responsible for helping to manage efforts to meet various clients’ expectations. SPI has developed a procurement consulting model that has proven to be very effective, and Managing Consultants are a valued part of the team’s approach to success.
Some experience in sales, business development and/or marketing is valuable. An understanding, and some experience in government are also traits that are highly valued.
This is a full-time, in-house position at Strategic Partnerships, Inc.’s Office (No Exceptions).

Compensation from $65,000 annually based on experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the #2 person on client teams assisting with business development;
Reporting to a Senior Consultant who leads the client team and assisting with strategy, management, research, and communication outreach. - Ensure timely management and support for large, complex, & high-volume clients.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships through frequent communications (email, phone calls, and in-person conversations).
- Interface daily with other teams at SPI (Research, Marketing, and Consulting Partners) that assist in providing support of client objectives.
- Contribute to the development and strategic direction designed to meet individual client sales goals.
- Contribute to internal and external client strategy sessions.
- Prepare, manage, and review client status reports.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Experience working directly with, or a good knowledge of, the SLED (State, Local and Education) market is required.
- Graduation from an accredited 4-year college or university or work experience that equals the degree.
- Self-motivated and committed to quality work.
- At least 3-4 years work experience in an office setting.
- Approximately 3 years of experience with sales, business development, and/or working in a government position of some sort.
- Proven ability to communicate, drive and deliver strategic initiatives.
- Good oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to high quality client service and consistent quality outputs.
- Interest in learning about all types of businesses for career growth.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Solid web based and computer skills, particularly CRM, Internet, and MS Office.
