Our PACS strategic goal is to accelerate our business’s potential and take it to the next level of profitable growth. As Senior Strategy & Business Development Manager, you will play a fundamental role in assisting the leadership team in most of the strategy activities of the Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Business Area. Reporting directly to the VP of Commercial Excellence & Strategy, you will work on complex tasks and gain direct access to influence executive decision-making.
You will support the senior leadership team in planning, delivering, and implementing high-priority strategic projects that contribute to PACS's overall business strategy and help drive its success.

Expectations
As our Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Development, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Managing complex research and analyses to drive business case development for key strategic focus areas.
- Prioritizing analyses through hypothesis-based problem solving and seeking second-order implications and insights beyond the obvious.
- Translating analysis output into practical and implementable recommendations.
- Supporting end-to-end strategy development, including adjustments to existing strategies based on new learnings and changes in the competitive environment.
- Assisting the PACS leadership team in collecting input and building executive presentations for the board at HID or AA level as well as for external conferences, coordinating the process and ensuring high standards of documents.
- Assisting PACS leadership in developing internally focused presentations to communicate the strategy to the PACS team.
- Supporting the PACS business area to monitor candidate space in relation to PACS strategies and overseeing an annual pipeline of M&A opportunities up to and including due diligence.
- Being an individual contributor and managing projects, including defining scope, performing quantitative analysis, synthesizing recommendations, presenting results to leadership, and driving adoption and implementation.
- Sharing insights and recommendations in a structured and easily digestible manner in written and oral formats, persuading based on facts and sound logic.
- Helping track and monitor key initiatives and results of implemented strategies.
- Applying strong analytical and consultancy skills to develop and lead internal sales best practice sharing across businesses.
- Using data-driven insights and structured problem-solving approaches to support the development of a growth culture.
- Leveraging consulting-style frameworks to drive analysis and deliver sales insights into the PACS customer base.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, or other relevant field with demonstrated strategic capability.
- 3+ years of professional experience in top-tier management consulting or in-house corporate strategy.
- Extensive experience operating within international business landscapes and navigating diverse cultures.
- Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and deriving strategic insights from business metrics.
- Experience in the physical security industry is desirable but not required.
