Senior FOIA Disclosure Product Manager

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Product Manager to support the IT mission of a large federal agency. The role focuses on product management and product marketing for our Secure Release product, driving cross‑functional collaboration and delivering market‑ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the Secure Release product and business‑planning process across cross‑functional teams.
  • Analyze consumer needs, market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build‑vs‑buy perspective.
  • Assess current competitor offerings to identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype and final product development.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments.
  • Lead product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, and product launch activities.
  • Prepare product strategy documents describing business cases, high‑level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on development, QA, and release of products.
  • Manage and deliver Release Notes, schedule walkthroughs, client notifications, product deployment, and the feature‑requests queue.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in product design or engineering.
  • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role.
  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Highly effective cross‑functional team management.
  • Previous experience delivering finely‑tuned product marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public‑speaking skills.
Preferred (Ideally) Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in product design or engineering.
  • Previous software and web development experience.
  • Experience working as a product developer in a non‑managerial role.
