Atrium Music is a boutique sync, publishing, and creative services company representing a global roster of exceptional artists and composers. We partner with networks, studios, brands, and creators to deliver high-quality, artist-forward music with speed, integrity, and heart.
We believe business is personal. We believe artists matter. And we believe it’s possible to build a successful, profitable company while leading with excellence, integrity, and purpose.
The RoleWe’re looking for a Head of Business Development to work directly alongside the Founder & CEO as Atrium enters its next chapter of growth.
This is a senior, high-trust role for someone who genuinely loves music, thrives on relationships, and knows how to turn creative conversations into real opportunities for artists and for the business. You’ll help drive revenue, expand strategic and brand partnerships, and open doors for music placement and sync licensing across film, television, advertising, emerging media, and branded content.
This role is as much about vision and leadership as it is about execution. If you’re energized by building, and want to leave your fingerprint on something meaningful, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Responsible For- Driving new business through sync licensing, brand partnerships, and strategic alliances
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with music supervisors, producers, brands, agencies, and networks, etc.
- Creating new placement and partnership opportunities for Atrium’s artists through thoughtful, proactive outreach
- Working closely with the Founder on growth strategy, partnerships, and deal execution
- Representing Atrium with professionalism, creativity, and integrity in every interaction
- Helping shape and execute Atrium’s long term business development vision
- You have an extensive music background
- Deeply passionate about music and the creative community
- Experienced in the music industry (sync, licensing, publishing, labels, brands, or agencies)
- Brings existing industry relationships and a strong professional reputation
- High agency, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership without hand-holding
- Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and execute
- Have an exceptional gift at multitasking, management and delegation
- Relational, trustworthy, and aligned with an artist-first philosophy
- Excited about leadership, mentoring and learning
Atrium is a values driven company, and how we work matters just as much as what we build.
- You are comfortable working in a values driven organization where purpose and integrity inform leadership and culture
- You respect and align with Atrium’s mission, vision, and people first approach
- You lead with humility, kindness, professionalism and eager to serve
- You believe business can be both successful and meaningful
- Deep understanding of Atrium’s catalog, artists, positioning, and workflows
- Strong working rhythm and trust established with the Founder
- Active engagement with key supervisors, brands, agencies, and partners
- A clear business development pipeline with defined opportunities
- Early momentum including conversations started, doors opened, and deals in motion
- Consistent generation of new sync and partnership opportunities
- Measurable revenue growth tied to business development efforts
- Multiple new brand, agency, or strategic partnerships established
- Strong external perception of Atrium as a trusted creative partner
- Tangible wins for artists through meaningful placements and relationships
- Operating as a true extension of the Founder—helping drive vision, execution, and growth
- Work directly alongside the Founder & CEO in shaping the future of the company
- Have real influence over strategy, partnerships, and growth
- Be part of a team that genuinely cares about artists and people
- Build something uniquely different in the sync and music space
- Grow personally, creatively, and professionally with a purpose-driven company
- Competitive compensation based on experience, with performance-based incentives and long-term growth opportunities.
