This position reports to the Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), Sr. Manager FP&A, North America and will be responsible for providing broad analytical and financial support to the North America DFS sales organization. A successful candidate will have supported a sales organization previously and is comfortable providing data insights to influence and impact the sales team. The candidate provides functional support to DFS NA sales team by monitoring key performance metrics, analyzing financial results, and identifying business trends and variances.
The candidate will participate in special projects as needed and prepare formal presentations for management review.
- Support sales management KPI and strategic initiative reviews that measure performance across the region
- Responsible for all customer rebate calculations and management of related balance sheet accounts
- Assist in the development of sales incentive targets and own the tracking/payment of quarterly sales incentive
- Maintain and improve monthly reporting to sales account managers and the sales management team
- Support implementation of reports through Excel and Microsoft Power BI, utilize the tool automate and improve business insights
- Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales and financial data during month-end close
- Recommend financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals
- Performs ad hoc analysis for executives as required
- Track record of creating strong partnerships and influencing at all levels of the organization, particularly the sales leadership organization
- Ability to articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
- Exceptional critical thinking skills: ability to decompose complex problems, prioritize issues, and implement sensible solutions
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work in a fluid, fast‑paced team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and comfortable facilitating and presenting to groups
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills
- Experience supporting a sales organization
- 3 - 5 years of strategic FP&A experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Experience may be used in lieu of education.
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel , Microsoft Power BI and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Oracle, a plus
