PurposeTo assist the University Development Office Frontline Support Services (FSS) team with staff support needs and daily administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Assist in the coordination of activities for various gift officers and other staff members as assigned.
- Provide support that allows for efficient and effective use of staff members' time.
- Assist with portfolio management and strategy execution for assigned fundraisers.
- Assist with goal setting, proposal preparation, strategy development, and stewardship as required for donors.
- Assist with maintaining appropriate electronic documentation on a timely basis, including engagement activities, proposal tracking, contact reports, donor strategies, and forecasting.
- Assist with recording timely reports, letters, proposals, or gift agreements following a donor contact.
- Assist with prospect and donor research, individualized donor stewardship projects, and various forms of donor outreach as needed.
- Plan and execute various events, such as workshops, webinars, and campus visits.
- Serve as a resource of information for assigned gift officers.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, plan travel, and process reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively, proactively, and in a professional, service-oriented manner with all university development staff to further the development goals of the university.
- Other related functions and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree.
- A combination of one year of experience assisting with fundraising programs or performing complex administrative functions.
- Highly effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
- Project management skills.
- Capable of working independently and under pressure, while also engaging in collaboration between teams.
- Excellence in problem‑analysis, problem‑solving, and customer service.
- Demonstrated high attention to details and accountability.
- Ability to use discretion and maintain integrity and professionalism.
- High degree of proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
