Vin World is expanding its operations in Austin, TX, and we’re looking for a Capacity Specialist to play a key role in building and scaling our carrier network from the ground up.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role at a critical stage of our growth. You’ll be responsible for securing daily capacity while also shaping long‑term carrier partnerships and strategies. It’s an opportunity to step into a leadership‑minded position within a startup‑style division, backed by a company with more than 20 years of global logistics experience.

About the RoleAs Capacity Specialist, you’ll be central to ensuring our freight moves efficiently and profitably. You’ll blend daily execution with strategic thinking as we continue to scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing, vetting, and onboarding carriers to build a strong and reliable network
- Securing daily coverage while maintaining service quality, cost efficiency, and margins
- Building long‑term partnerships with carriers, owner‑operators, and trucking companies
- Negotiating competitive rates and capacity commitments
- Responding quickly to coverage gaps and market shifts
- Optimizing margins through smart load pairing and rate strategies
- Maintaining an organized carrier database by region, equipment, and performance
- Serving as the primary point of contact for carriers and resolving service issues
- Collaborating closely with sales, operations, and leadership
- Coaching and guiding junior reps as the team grows
- Startup‑style environment with real ownership and visibility
