Position Overview

You will own and elevate the end‑to‑end procurement function for a multi‑unit organization, shaping strategy, operating model, and performance. You will design policies, optimize processes, and ensure every dollar spent delivers maximum value, mitigates risk, and supports growth, quality, and brand standards.

What You’ll Do

You will set the vision and long‑term strategy for strategic procurement, translating business and financial goals into clear category, sourcing, and supplier relationship plans. You’ll lead a high‑performing team, modernize systems and processes, and partner closely with Operations, Construction, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to source goods and services at the right time, cost, risk profile, and quality.

What Success Looks Like
  • A scalable, data‑driven procurement model with clear policies, governance, and KPIs adopted across all regions and business units.
  • Robust, strategic supplier partnerships that provide reliable supply, competitive pricing, innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • A high‑performing procurement organization recognised for strategic insight, responsiveness, and proactive problem‑solving.
  • Stakeholders view procurement as a strategic advisor and key partner in planning, budgeting, capital deployment, and major initiatives.
About You

You are a strategic, analytical procurement leader who enjoys turning complexity into clear structure and scalable processes. You think in systems, are comfortable making decisions with data, and can move fluidly between executive‑level strategy and hands‑on negotiations, contract, or category work. You love developing people, building strong supplier partnerships, and collaborating cross‑functionally to unlock cost savings, resilience, and long‑term value for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the enterprise‑wide strategic procurement vision, roadmap, and operating model aligned with company growth, margin, and risk‑management goals.
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine procurement policies, standards, and processes.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing procurement team, including a Sr. Director of Procurement and two Procurement Specialists.
  • Establish and execute category strategies for major spend areas (equipment, construction, facilities, professional services, technology).
  • Own supplier segmentation, selection, onboarding, and performance management, including scorecards and strategic business reviews.
  • Lead contract strategy and high‑impact negotiations to secure favourable commercial terms, service levels, and risk protections in collaboration with Legal and Finance.
  • Partner with Operations, Construction, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to align specifications, standardise SKUs where appropriate, and optimise total cost of ownership.
  • Oversee procurement data, analytics, and reporting to provide transparency into spend, savings, compliance, and supplier performance; use insights to drive decisions.
  • Lead cost‑optimisation initiatives, including value engineering, standardisation, vendor consolidation, and demand management.
  • Monitor market trends, supply‑chain risks, and inflationary pressures; develop and execute mitigation strategies, dual‑sourcing, and contingency plans for critical categories.
  • Champion procurement technology and digital tools (e‑sourcing, contract management, spend analytics) to improve efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or executive leadership role.
  • Proven track record leading or scaling a strategic procurement or sourcing function in a multi‑site or multi‑unit environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving material cost savings, total cost of ownership…
