Position Overview

Jewish National Fund- USA seeks an Administrator to provide clerical, event and organizational support to meet the administrative needs and goals related to the Jewish National Fund-USA Campaign and assist with planning and executing events that align with our strategic vision. All planning and execution related to events will be done in coordination with Campaign Staff, Operational Staff, the Director of National Events, and the Executive Director of our Center of Excellence.

This is a full-time position that can be based out of the following offices:

  • Scottsdale, AZ
  • Austin, TX

This position will have some travel throughout the Southwest region (Arizona, Texas, Nevada and surrounding areas).

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to fundraisers and events, including handling phones, scheduling, managing invoices, travel coordination, sponsorship details and general office tasks
  • Maintain donor and event data in Salesforce, ensuring accurate entry of pledges, donations, and registrations; generate reports and track RSVPs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, event committees, and Marketing to align event goals and produce materials like invitations, signage, and digital assets.
  • Work with our Israel Office Administration Manager to coordinate travel, itineraries, calendars and related documents for affiliate speakers
  • Coordinate event registration, name badges, seating, and shipping of supplies; run virtual events and assist with post-event follow-up.
  • Manage marketing collateral and related materials as appropriate
  • Plan and execute a portfolio of events across the Northeast Region overseeing all logistics such as timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, staffing, and on-site execution.
  • Identify and manage event risks, ensure vendor compliance, and provide post-event feedback and recommendations.
  • Travel to regional events for on-site execution, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Document event details in CRM and project management tools.
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Superior customer service, telephone etiquette, and dependability.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible with last-minute requests and time-sensitive tasks.
  • Problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
  • Independent and team-oriented, high energy, and deadline-focused.
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and travel within the region.
  • Must have a valid US driver's license, personal car, and credit card (reimbursed expenses).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Preferred: experience in development organizations, BA/BS degree, and 1+ years of event planning.
  • Days off for all work-prohibitive Jewish holidays, in addition to the secular US holidays

Compensation

$45,000 (eligible for pre-approved overtime)

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
