The Facilities Coordinator supports the Facilities Team in the construction and maintenance of the Company’s Donor Centers. The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Facilities Manager as part of the Facilities Department.
Key Responsibilities- Understand principles of maintenance related to 6,000 to 8,000 square foot blood plasma donation centers. A blood plasma donation center contains components similar to facilities for outpatient surgery, dialysis, blood donation, or medical office buildings.
- Ensure all building components are regulatory compliant and maintained to provide a safe, efficient, and clean environment.
- Receive, process, and assign digital work orders based on priority and elevate work orders, as necessary, to the Facilities Manager and/or other Facilities Team members.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on the scheduling for the work order completion at the centers and closing out the work order request in the applicable system.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance inspections, including tracking and vendor performance.
- Develop vendor bid lists in markets to support other Facilities Team Members.
- Meet developed KPI requirements for work order receipt, assignment, and resolution.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage and control maintenance costs.
- Review and recommend approval on vendor invoicing.
- Conduct reviews of Facilities Team managed vendor agreements to identify any agreements that need to be renewed and/or updated to meet current agreement standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Manage small, short duration projects as necessary to support the Facilities Team.
- Ensure the timely, effective communication of project status to the Facilities Team and to other stakeholders, both internal and external, as required.
- Interpret and apply SOPs and regulations and customer requirements in the development and implementation of Donor Centers Facilities Maintenance requests.
- Other job-related duties as required.
- Ability to work under pressure; meet inflexible deadlines; set priorities; deal diplomatically with difficult individuals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Click Up, Bluebeam, and related software.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, across multiple organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple work orders and/or projects concurrently.
- At least 3 to 5 years of facilities maintenance industry experience or demonstrated experience tracking multiple small projects over a large geographic area.
Physical Requirements
- This position will be based at the Austin, Texas, Headquarters for Join Parachute.
- Limited travel may be required with advance notice.
- May involve exposure to noise, dust, fumes, dangerous machinery, chemicals, body fluids, falling objects, and aggressive verbal and physical behavior from donors.
