Account Services Associate (3-6 month Contract)

Remote | Austin Texas | Full-Time | $20/hour

Role Overview :

This is a short-term opportunity ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in financial operations or administrative support. Over the course of 3-6 months, you’ll support the setup and maintenance of investment accounts, working cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where precision and problem-solving are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Input and maintain client information in internal systems
  • Check submitted documents for accuracy during onboarding services
  • Address account setup and form-related questions from advisors and staff
  • Process account transfers, direct rollovers, and similar transactions
  • Monitor and follow up on incomplete submissions or documentation issues
  • Collaborate with compliance and operations teams to resolve paperwork concerns
  • Make updates to account features or classification as needed
  • Maintain organized digital records to ensure full documentation trails
  • Assist with user questions about internal tools and process requirements
  • Support additional projects or clerical needs as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma required; college coursework preferred
  • Prior experience in administrative, data entry or operations roles. Financial services, is a plus
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational habits
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle confidential data, and follow documented procedures
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Laptop is provided, additional monitor needed.
  • Positive, team-focused attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
