Homestead Legal is a growing Texas law firm focused on probate and estate planning
. We are seeking a highly organized, client-focused Intake & Outreach Specialist to serve as the firm’s primary point of contact for prospective and current clients.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, communicates clearly and compassionately, and takes ownership of workflows and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, text, email, and client portal
  • Conduct initial intake and screening for probate, estate planning, and related matters
  • Own and maintain the firm’s lead tracker and CRM (MyCase), including follow-ups and conversion tracking
  • Schedule and coordinate attorney consultations (phone, Zoom, and in-office)
  • Draft and send professional client communications, reminders, confirmations, and updates
  • Send and track engagement agreements, retainers, intake forms, and supporting documents
  • Manage incoming mail and correspondence, ensuring proper routing and follow-up
  • Assist with calendar management to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support referral relationships and light marketing/outreach efforts
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and ongoing professional training
What We’re Looking For
  • A polished and professional phone presence
  • Highly organized and self-motivated—you enjoy working from a structured call list with clear goals
  • Friendly, empathetic communication style with the ability to build trust quickly
  • Prior client-facing, intake, or administrative experience (legal experience a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort managing CRMs, calendars, and multiple communication channels
  • High attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability
  • Professional, calm demeanor—especially with clients in stressful situations
Compensation & Hours
  • Hourly Rate: Starting at $20 per hour (more depending on experience)
