AdministrativeOffice Coordinator (AOC)
Location: South Austin, TX (6800 Westgate Blvd)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience
Position OverviewThe Assistant Office Coordinator (AOC) supports the nursing team in South Austin and plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This is a highly interactive position in a fast‑paced, sometimes noisy environment. The AOC works in an open office setting alongside the nursing team, with individuals we support and their staff coming in and out throughout the day. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while helping keep the team organized and on track.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the nursing team and leadership
- Coordinate medical appointments for the individuals served with providers and ensure transportation is arranged
- Maintain accurate physical and electronic filing systems, including charts
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls
- Perform data entry in agency‑specific system for accurate reporting
- Greet and assist visitors, staff, and clients professionally
- Prepare documents, make copies, and provide general office support
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2–3 years of administrative or office support experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic environment
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to keep self and others organized
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to producing high‑quality work
