Development Assistant (Rathgeber Village Campus)
SAFE Alliance seeks a Development Assistant for the Administrative & Executive Program in the Development department. The Development Assistant assists with data entry, imports and exports across fundraising platforms, supports development events and campaign execution, and helps manage donor communication workflows. This role also assists in event and stewardship efforts, manages the CDO’s scheduling needs for donor meetings, and supports internal development planning.
The SAFE Alliance exists to stop abuse for everyone by serving survivors of child abuse, sexual assault, exploitation, and domestic violence. Over the past two years we have provided over 400 trainings to more than 7,000 community members. Our housing and shelter programs have provided over 46,000 nights of care and served over 3,000 youth and adults directly affected by abuse.
We have provided over 10,000 callers, chats, and texts through our 24/7 confidential SAFEline.
Full‑time, exempt. Annual salary $48,000 – $60,000, dependent on experience.
Location:
Rathgeber Village Campus, Muller area. Some travel between campuses and remote/hybrid work available.

- High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year nonprofit development, data entry, administrative support, or fundraising operations experience.
- Experience with Razor’s Edge CRM or a similar database.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with donor software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to generate basic reports and queries.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confidentiality and professionalism with donor information.
- Comfort managing leaders’ calendars and sensitive schedules.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive data‑entry tasks.
- Moderate office noise environment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally for event materials.
- Evening and weekend work for event support as needed.
- Pass required criminal history background checks, FBI fingerprint check if applicable, pre‑employment drug screen and TB test if applicable.
