About the OpportunityA fast‑growing client of ours is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a well‑established, high‑performing corporate accounting team. What You’ll DoYou’ll play a key role in full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close while supporting a multi‑entity structure.
Key Responsibilities- Own full‑cycle accounting: complex journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
- Lead monthly/quarterly close activities across multiple entities
- Maintain accurate general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance
- Manage prepaid schedules and fixed asset accounting (additions, disposals, depreciation, reclasses)
- Support payroll accounting (preferred but not required)
- Prepare cost allocations across business units and entities
- Develop audit schedules and support external/internal audits
- Partner with operations to validate financial data and support expense classification
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to efficiency/automation initiatives
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong full‑cycle accounting and month‑end close experience
- Background in a larger corporate environment (not just small business/QB)
- Experience with complex journal entries and reconciliations
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- ERP experience (Workday preferred, but any large ERP accepted)
- Multi‑entity accounting experience
- Payroll accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate (nice‑to‑have, not required)
