Senior Property Accountant | Austin, TX | Full-Time Position

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to oversee a diverse portfolio in the Austin and Central Texas area. This role is responsible for the full-cycle accounting of residential, multi‑family, and commercial assets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with complex property accounting and high‑volume data management.

• Manage full-cycle accounting for a mixed portfolio, including single‑family homes, townhomes, condos, and multi‑family units.
• Process and oversee RUBS (Ratio Utility Billing Systems) and tenant bill‑backs.
• Handle security deposit accounting and complex month‑end/year‑end close procedures.
• Perform high‑volume bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy across multi‑entity structures.
• Maintain straight‑line rent schedules and ensure compliance with property management agreements.

• 5+ years of experience in property accounting (multifamily or residential focus preferred).
• Expert‑level proficiency in Yardi or MRI.
• Proven experience with RUBS, straight‑line rent, and tenant bill‑back processes.
• Strong understanding of multi‑entity accounting and high‑density residential portfolios.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, local team environment.
