Senior Accountant – General Ledger | Hybrid in Austin, TX

• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and supporting schedules (GAAP/GASB).
• Perform and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses.
• Support internal/external audits with audit ready work papers.
• Research accounting guidance and ensure compliance with standards and internal controls.
• Improve accounting processes, documentation, and system workflows.
• Partner cross functionally and help mentor team members.

• 9+ years of accounting experience;
  Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Business (or equivalent via guidelines).
• Strong GAAP knowledge (GASB a plus).
• Experience with GL close, reconciliations, schedules, and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• CPA or CPA candidacy preferred.
