Billing Operations Specialist - Austin, TX

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Austin, TX as our Billing Operations Specialist.

In this role, you will work closely with internal team members and clients to assist with billing, auditing, and payroll admin needs.

• Location: Austin, TX (onsite)
• Pay Range: $55,000-$62,000/yr (depending on experience)
• Hours: M-F, 8:00-4:30
• Benefits: Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with employer match, and paid time off

Key Responsibilities

• Upload invoices into client portals
• Handle sensitive financial details
• Work diligently in Excel with large (and multiple) sets of data to audit pay rates, billing, per diem payments, etc.
• Ensure accuracy and spot inconsistencies during data review
• Communicate with clients and internal staff
• Assist with other departments as needed

Qualifications

• A degree in operations, finance, or accounting preferred
• Billing experience is preferred
• Must be highly knowledgeable in Excel including formulas that assist in auditing functions
• Auditing experience a plus
• Have an analytical mindset to ensure accuracy
• Solid communication skills
• Must have high attention to detail and great organizational skills
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods
