A Senior Tax Accountant is needed on a direct hire basis for a well-established firm located in Austin, TX. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing and reviewing tax compliance and planning engagements for high-net worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns for:
- Partnerships (1065)
- Corporations (1120, 1120S)
- Conduct tax research
- Assist in managing client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
- Mentor and review work of junior tax staff and interns.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IRS and state tax regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and team members.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum three years of experience in tax.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Experience with complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
- Proficiency with tax software (e.g., Lacerte, Pro System fx, GoSystem) and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
