Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will oversee key financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting processes. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards through effective auditing practices.

- Utilize accounting software systems such as Black Line, Concur, and ERP tools to streamline workflows.

- Supervise billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.

- Lead the implementation and optimization of accounting systems for improved efficiency.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.

- Develop and maintain financial reports for management and stakeholders.

- Train and mentor staff to enhance overall accounting team performance. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting management within the financial services industry.

- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Black Line, Concur, and ERP tools.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.

- Familiarity with auditing practices and financial compliance standards.

- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
