💰 Salary Range: $130,000 – $185,000

Lead the accounting function with a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and process improvement.

• Close Process Leadership:
• Own monthly and quarterly close cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Accelerate close timelines through process improvements and automation.
• Team Management & Development:
• Supervise and mentor a Staff Accountant.
• Oversee AP workflows including POs, GRNI, prepaids, and deposits.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Technical Accounting & Compliance:
• Draft technical accounting memos for complex transactions under US GAAP.
• Manage audits from the company side, ensuring smooth coordination and timely completion.
• Handle ASC 606 (Revenue), ASC 842 (Leases), ASC 718 (Stock Comp), and equity accounting.
• Process Optimization & Systems:
• Automate workflows and implement new accounting systems.
• Evaluate ERP solutions (Odoo experience is a plus) and drive system upgrades.
• Design scalable processes for consolidations and intercompany eliminations.

• Partner with Revenue Accounting and other teams on technical topics.
• Support strategic projects and initiatives across finance and operations.

• Public Accounting
  
  Experience:
  
  4+ years, ideally with exposure to revenue, leases, equity, and financial statement preparation.
• Industry
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven track record owning close processes, managing audits, and writing technical memos.
• Leadership
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to review work, coach staff, and delegate effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC standards (606, 842, 718).
• Systems & Automation: Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a bonus), process automation, and system implementations.
• CPA: HEAVILY Preferred but not required.

• Senior or Manager titles in asset‑heavy, multi‑entity companies.
• Experience in manufacturing, energy, or high‑growth environments.
• Demonstrated success in fast‑paced, collaborative, on‑site settings.
