Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day accounting tasks. This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial management.

Responsibilities:

- Record and classify financial transactions accurately within accounting software.

- Perform regular reconciliations of bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

- Prepare and distribute invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.

- Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records and documentation.

- Assist in preparing payroll and ensuring compliance with tax filing requirements.

- Generate financial reports and provide support for budgeting and forecasting.

- Collaborate with management to ensure financial practices align with organizational goals. Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books or similar accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

- Experience with bank and credit card reconciliation.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

- Familiarity with payroll preparation and tax compliance is a plus.
