Small Cedar Park company is seeking a Temporary Controller for a project that involves bringing the accounting records current and completing historical financial cleanup for multiple entities under common ownership. The pay rate is flexible depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Complete financial cleanup and reconciliation for both companies
- Review, correct, and finalize general ledger accounts
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Oversee and coordinate with the on-staff bookkeeper
- Manage and reconcile e-commerce transactions (Amazon and Shopify)
- Ensure proper recording of revenue, expenses, inventory, and fees
- Work directly with ownership and management to resolve accounting issues
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and best practices
- Support preparation for tax filings and reporting as needed
- 5+ years of experience in a Controller role
- Experience with Quick Books Online, Amazon Seller Central, and Shopify
- Mid-Senior level
